As we gear up for the closed alpha testing of our PvP shooter Sugar Showdown, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes laying the groundwork for exciting things to come!
We’re thrilled to announce the establishment of Driftwalk, a UK-based company that will serve as the home for Candyland Carnage and position us for seamless growth in the future. This move also puts us in a stronger position to explore funding opportunities, paving the way for potential investment in the near term.
Additionally, we’re launching a community forum, thanks to the contributions of one of our amazing members, P185. The forum will provide an alternative space for those who don’t use Discord, enabling more structured conversations, better tracking of discussions, and streamlined feedback. It will also serve as a hub for setting up clans and guilds to compete together—or against each other!
On the technical side, we’re currently awaiting approval from Apple and Google for our external alpha builds, which we hope will be greenlit very soon. Once approved, we’ll be ready to roll out the builds for testing. Fingers crossed!
We’re also in the process of setting up Xbox development accounts to bring our games to Xbox consoles. Looking ahead, we plan to expand to PlayStation and Nintendo platforms, which have stricter requirements, but we’re confident we’ll meet them when the time comes.
Thank you all for your ongoing support—we couldn’t do this without you!
